Good bye stoneleigh be back in a year

Well this is it and off I go with my new friend Chris Newlands he lives down south some where guess I will find out. What will I be doing and who will I meet next?

Stoneleigh Weekend The start

What a busy weekend I have had, Saturday afternoon a few of the club took me to see the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire air ambulance for photos and to meet the crew. Sunday was the start of the big adventure and I got to meet Vicki Butler-Henderson lucky bear, I also met the guys from complete kit car and had a photo with them on their show stand. Monday I spent quite a bit of time looking for Tiff Needell, hoping to get my autograph book signed by him as well but no luck. Over the weekend I raised £112.09 in the bucket, to still be added to this is what Mel from the air ambulance made and any profits that Ian made on lanyards.Well done all.

Derbyshire,Leicestershire & Rutland air ambulance

This is what its all about then, me helping these car mad nutters raise money to keep these fantastic ambulances in the air. Chatting to these guys has let me know what they do. They can get airborne in 45 seconds, reach the most northerly point in Derbyshire in 16 minutes and the most southerly point in Leicestershire in 11 minutes. They operate 7 days a week and cover an area of 2100 squire miles, covering a population in excess of 1.4 million plus motorists passing through the area on the M1. It costs £1.5 million a year to operate this service and this is only 1 of the air ambulances in the country. Guess that's why they need the help of a super fund raising bear
